The Sivanath Sastri College Library offers an efficient and user-friendly Lending Service to support the academic needs of students, faculty members, and staff. The service allows registered users to borrow books and other learning materials for a specified period according to their membership category.

Students are permitted to issue books for home reading for a fixed loan period. Faculty members enjoy extended borrowing privileges to support teaching and research activities. Borrowers are expected to return materials on or before the due date to ensure fair and timely access for all users.

Certain categories of materials—such as reference books, rare collections — are restricted to library use only. Overdue items may incur fines as per library rules (for more details see... Rules and Regulations). 

The Lending Service of Sivanath Sastri College Library aims to promote equitable access to knowledge resources while encouraging responsible and timely use of library materials. It remains an essential support system for the teaching–learning environment of the college.
